After effects won't install, 'Not enough disk space'

So im trying to install After Effects, installed it before but uninstalled it a while go.

Now, I have some of my Creative Cloud apps installed on my SSD, but there's not enough space on there anymore, so I changed the installation folder to my hdd, which has over 600 GB of disk space left, yet CC is still telling me that there's not enough disk space available, and that it's unable to install after effects.

I already reinstalled the Creative Cloud app but it didn't work.

What's the problem here, what am I missing?

How much available space is on your primary drive?   Even if you install to a secondary drive there are still directories and system files that go on your primary drive.  In general your primary drive needs a certain amount free space to operate properly.

    Hello,

Would you mention the version of OS? Is SSD a single partition or a multiple partition?
