All my work is Gone after pressing ctrl w someone help

I was editing and simply pressing ctrl s to save but missed and hit ctrl w and now all my 8 hours of work is gone can someonehelp

Ctrl/Cmnd + w only closes a panel. It sounds like you closed your Project panel. Nothing was lost unless you closed After Effects and did not save the project.

To restore the workspace, either double-click on one of the workspaces in the Toolbar or use Window/Workspace and pick the workspace and reset it.
