I just got an explainer video project drop in my lap and I've only got 1-2 weeks to do it, so I've decided to purchase an animation toolkit to hopefully speed up the process. I'm looking at this one and this one. Does anyone have any experience using these templates or have any other recommendations? I know there's other websites/programs out there, but I'd rather stick to After Effects as that's something I'm more familiar/comfortable with. Thanks in advance!
Alos, hoping my computer can even handle these sorts of templates. I've been reading some reviews on people having trouble with machine performance *fingers crossed* If anyone has any feedback, that'd also be greatly appreciated. Here are my specs:
Processor 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Graphics Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Both are good, pixflow and By Premiumilk are from the best author on videohive, regarding speed I totally agree some time these templates run very slow because it includes a lot of elements so I think the best solution here is to reduce the project first so just select the compositions (characters) you want to use and reduce the project so this can save you a lot of time later in loading and saving the project

Your hardware should be perfectly capable of the job.
As mentioned above, the titles you've linked too are fine. Templates like these are typically huge, and contain a LOT of expressions to link universal parameters and controls. So plan for slow render times, work in 1/4 resolution to do your design work, and remove things you definitely won't need to keep the project as trim as possible.

Hi @slu1221 ,
Totally agree with @Andrew Yoole and @OussK .
You're in a good space.
Only thing I'd add, is hit the Uber key (U) to work out what has been done by way of animation and clean up what you don't want.
And, work through the Project Mini flowchart, or if very comlex, View > Flowchartt to get a sense of nested comps and other bits and bobs that may be superfluous for your project.
Let us know how you go

Check out AEJuice, they reduce each comp beforehand so you import only a few layers that you actually need
