Apple Prores 422 HQ with alpha

Hi I'm trying to render out Apple Prores 422 HQ codec with alpha channel, but the RGB/Alpha is greyed out. Do I need to change someting in the preferneces?

Only ProRez 444 supports alpha channels.

    Thanks Rick, I thought that was the case, and while your here. Is ProRez 444 a larger file size than ProRez 422 HQ?

    Yes, but not that much bigger because you are adding another channel and changing the color sampling. There are other options like GoPro Cineform (excellent) that support Alpha and up to 10-bit color.
