Automation blocks for AE rectangle

Question

I want to program a "highligh text" rectangle that grows
I have managed to program my script to create a rectangle, but I need the anchor point to be placed in the left middle side of the rectangle, so the scale preset works good, I've been trying to configure it but cant seem to figure it out, if anyone can help! 😄

The easiest way to place the anchor point at the left center is to apply an expression to it.

My other (paid) tool Pins & Boxes has a function called Anchor Point Controls to generate such expressions for you:

You can save the entire expressions rig including the effect controls into an effect preset and then apply this preset using Automation Blocks.
