Blue dotted line in preview bar

Hi,

Sometimes in AE when opening a file I get the attached dotted blue line instead of the solid preview line while it is previewing a frame. It continues to move dotted....forever and never seems to render the frame. Any ideas? (See Attached)

Check your footage interpretation. This could indicate a mismatch in the framerates of field order.
