Boris FX glitch, please help

Hi, whenever I go to launch Boris FX "Particle Illusion" interface, 

This comes up. I also can't click out of it, the OK button doesn't work. It happens every time and I can't use the effects. I've reached out to Borix FX and they said it's most likey to do with Adobe After Effects, itself. Please help me fix this bug so that I can use it.
