Bug: Sound clicks and pops

After encoding with After Effects I've got sound clicks and pops in the final video. I tried everything 🙁but the issue still appears. There is no such clicks and pops when I use another editing and encoding software with the same setting and type of sound. So, the problem is not in the hardware.
I changed in After Effects and the encoder everything that can be changed.
This happens even when I encode only a sound file without any video at all.
Any idea how to get rid of this clicks and pops?

I just had an idea, tell me if you think this could work:

One could render the video in After Effects without audio and then use an XML export of the timeline with the audio edits and use that to render video and audio together in another software, like Davinci for example.

Do you think this could work?

Rendering with another soft doesn’t show problems to me, but the point is to use the Adobe soft. Why pay subscription in the first place.

If there is DRM protection on an audio file, you might get an error or clicking sound when trying to transcode it (render it).

If your project is attempting to stretch or compress the audio file, you might also get an audible sound error.

What sample rate did you record at? or what is the sample rate of your audio file? project?

Hi

I use sound editing software for the audio files and when I export them, I check them and they are just fine. They usually contain multiple layers with different sounds, music, effects, etc. It can't be DRM because the pops appear even when I use captured game video made by me.

I tried with all formats, bitrates, and frequencies. wav, mp3, aac, aiff, etc. Same thing.

I noticed that in most of the ready videos (usually ~1 hour) the pops begin to appear after the ~23rd min. of the video.

Also, the same thing if I export with the Adobe encoder only the audio. If I export with Adobe ~30 min. file the pops may not appear at all. The longer file, the more and earlier they appear. Strange isn't it!?

Sometimes when the audio file is very complex- ~20 layers, different binaurals, many effects with different settings, etc. the pops appear in the begining and are more frequent even when I export with Adobe short audio file ~10 min.

The situation appear to be hopeless. 😥

I have the exact same problem and I'm starting to lose my mind.

Original file absolutely no pops and clicks.

After I render it the clicks start appearing, exactly around min 23 (on an hour long video) and towards minute 40 they start fading, though still there.

It's not super noticeable if you are not really focusing on it, but I do notice it and it drives me crazy.

Pretty mind blowing to me that such an expensive problem presents such a basic and noticeable problem.
