Can't figure out why layer is fading to black at 32s when there are no Effects or Transitions added

I'm using a slideshow template that I downloaded online. I changed some of the animations on the slides, but I cannot figure out why it is fading to black even though there are no effects on the layer. When I move the layer around on the timeline, the fade to black only happens at the 32 second mark, so the effect isn't on the layer itself. If I don't have any layers on the 32 second mark, then the fade to black doesn't happen.

I'm an After Effects newbie so thanks for any help!
