Can't import Photoshop layers into After Effects 2020

With the new update, when I try to import a Photoshop file with seperate layers into After Effects 2020 I no longer get the option to work with separate editable layers. Am I seeing or doing something wrong? HELP!

Check that your PSD is not in CMYK color space. After Effects cannot import layered PSD files in CMYK.

    My PSD file is exactly what you say that is CMYK and have tried many times and cannot import with layers, BIG THANK YOU!

    You make sure that the file format is Photshop, adding the extension as *.psd. You try to import it.
