Can't remove effect in after effect

The problem is this, when I used the effect on the Sapphire_FilmDamage layer, I decided to remove it from the track, but something incomprehensible happened, the effect was superimposed on all layers and now this effect cannot be found and deleted, it simply does not exist, the preview video on it has this effect in in the form of a flicker with different background colors. I tried to reinstall the plugin, it does not help. You can only create a new composition, then the effect will disappear, but I need those files, and I don’t want to create everything again, although I’m still a beginner, I can transfer everything (tracks and effects) to a new composition. Thank you in advance!

Could you have added it to an adjustment layer by mistake?  Is it possible if you did that the adjustment layer is then hidden using shy?  If that's not the case, it's possible the plugin has crashed your GPU and you're seeing the results of that.  If so, restarting your PC should take care of it.

Can you post a screenshot of your whole after effects layout?  It might help with diagnosing the problem.

I found this effect, as you said, in an adjustment layer, I precomposed it with the main layer and found it inside. Thank you!

Aww, nice one.  Glad that's sorted for you.
