Hi Simon,

I've branched your comment into a new discussion.

Do you get this error when you try to update After Effects using the Creative Cloud desktop app? Please check out the following article and see if that helps: https://adobe.ly/4iYlk5i

Thanks,
Nishu

Cant use the CC app, bc of my firm policy (and it does not show the 25.2). I have this 3 browser as written in the help you linked.

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Might be it works tomorrow, or after a little bugfix, as someone other sayd there are little bugs in it and it's slower

Have you tried enabling the Java script as suggested in the article? Let me know if that doesn't help. You can access the CC app online on your browser. Here's the link: https://adobe.ly/4jBihjB

Thanks,
Nishu

finally found the solution: I have had to change the "standard Language for installation" in the CC App change to english. Then the App found the 2025.2.2 available updates. sigh

ok, great! The update to 2025.3 is here, and the same error occures! I can't install it.

While I try to install it on the browser, I get this link

https://www.adobe.com/home/errors/unsupportedBrowser.html

and in the CCApp the update does not show up. (does not matter which language)
