Cancelled subscription

So, I have paid an early subscription cancellation fee as my daughter no longer uses the After Effects app. But I have recently had a monthly payment taken out, AFTER I'd already paid the cancellation fee. Can anyone explain this to me please, because I cannot find a way of blocking this payment and it is coming out of my Credit Card. HELP!
