cannot open after effects 2022

I haven't opened After Effects in a while, I tried launching the app today realizing that it has already been updated to After Effects 2022. Many times I tried to launch it but before even opening it, a warning sign pops up and says "loading crash log, might take a few minutes" I press ok and the application closes. I've waited and done this a few times but the app still cannot open or even load. Please help.
