I am creating extruded text with Cinema4D renderer. It seems as if the extruded parts dissapears when opening this in Classic3D. Can this be solved?

You can change the comp renderer at any point in the composition settings. The rest is entirely up to structuring the project suitably and having the different comps set accordingly. Depending on the situation you may also consider creating a genuine C4D file in C4D Lite and importing it via Cineware to minimize the number of extra comps and facilitate some tasks.

Thanx.
I need to have blending mode for a layer set to "Screen" and this is only possible in classic3d, at the same time this layer is a extruded text wich can only be made with the Cinema4D. Is the best way to deal with this to create a C4D lite file?

You can use native Cinema 4D lite files inside After Effects through Cineware. Create your 3D text in Cinema and import it into your composition. In the Cineware effects choose Current or Viewport to have a decent quality preview.
Also, you can render a file sequence from Cinema and import it into AE as usual.

Thanx,
It looks good with Cinema, its the way to go for me. I made a mistake and did not use the same filesize for the Cinemafile as for the composition in Ae. Also there is a lot of materials etc. available in Cinema, really nice.
