Cinema 4D lite lighting not rendering the same way in After Effects

Let me preface this by saying I am relatively new to C4D lite (last 2 months) and have been using After Effects for about 7 months...new to both. I am trying to figure out why a dramatically lit scene in C4D seen below...

renders without the dramatic shadows in After Effects.

I've got two area lights in the scene....a top light that's using a soft shadow map and a red light that is behind that orange wall which is using area shadow. I am using the Standard (final) render setting in AE

and somehow i'm losing all that great dramatic shadowing and lighting.

My render settings for Save:

and Options

I am sure I am missing some sort of setting somewhere...but is it in C4D lite or AE?

Turned off Ambient Occlusion...no change. Happy to post more settings info. Could it be any of the stock 3D models I imported throwing things off? Thank you so much in advance for any advice you can give.

Troubleshooting missing plug-ins...deleted those instances and voila. fixed. all my settings were correct!
