coloured bars during preview

I can't seem to figure out why these coloured bars show up over my video while previewing as i go.

Color Bars indicate missing footage. Make sure you have not moved or renamed any of the source footage.

Legend

Check your hardware acceleration settings and your system's graphics driver. It may need updating.
