Common Extensibility Platform error for Adobe AE cc 2018 ( MacOS High Sierra)

Hi,

I've suddenly had problems opening AE 2018 ( MacOS High Sierra), receiving the dreaded error message "CEP" couldn't be loaded.

( Error message

83:: 2 )

I've seen past related error messages:

... but neither of these are relevant as:

a) I don't have a PC and

b) I'm not on a network.

Any suggestions from a MacOS perspective would be greatly appreciated!

did you fix it yet ot not? because i have the same exact problem.

I think CEP Meaning you have a problem with some Extention so did you install any AE or PP Extention recently?

if so try to delete, you can find the extension directory here:

windows

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\

Mac

~ /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions
