Composition Preview Disappeared

It was working just fine and then I clicked something that I don't know what it was because that happens sometimes. I cannot view my composition any longer. I have tried just about everything, and no caps lock is not on.

What happens when you select the comp Panel and press Shift + / ? 

 

What happens when you select Fit in the Magnification Ratio dropdown at the bottom left. It's the 4th option from the left.

Update: Had to click on the top right Adobe logo and open the program totally fresh from there. Created a new composition and everything is working just fine when I did that. Rebuilding my entire file over again because opening it from the desktop composition preview refuses to work. Does anyone know why that is the case?
