Copy Animation Presets to another lower AE version

Hello! Is there anyway to copy Animation Presets to lower AE version? This really is bugging us out as my co-worker who is using a lower AE version than mine wanted to use my presets too.
The presets are up to 40, it'd be too time-consuming to recreate them all again.

Please help! Thank you!

I have about two hundred Animation Presets that I have created over the years. I have had to update the expressions on a few of them to make them work without changing the Expression's language preferences. I created an alias pointing to dropbox so that any machine connected to the internet has full access to all of the presets all the time.

There. should be nothing that prevents you from copying any folder or FFX file and pasting it into the default User Presets folder for your OS. That's where my Alias pointing to my Custom AE Presets folder in Dropbox lives.

The error you are seeing could be caused because the Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network box is unchecked on the Preferences/Scripting & Expressions page.

Unfortunately, this is how it is. One workaround is for you to apply all 40 presets, judiciously, perhaps one preset into its own Comp. Then save it one version lower and hopefully this will work.
