Hi Everybody,

I'm tryinf to figure out how to copy comp markers from one comp to a parent comp. Now I don't mean markers in the layers, I mean the markers on the main timeline up top to the same timeline position but in the parent comp.

I know I can copy the comp into the parent and the markers go with it, but I don't want the marker on the layer, only the top timeline.

Is that possible?

Copy and paste Composition Markers would make for an amazing feature request!

Something that might speed the process up a tiny bit:

  1. Add the Comp with the Composition Markers to the Comp that needs the markers.
  2. From the First Frame of the Comp, use "k" to advance to the first Layer marker of the nested Comp.
  3. With no Layers selected, press control + option + 8 to open the Layer Marker dialog box, enter a Comment and, then press Return.
  4. Press "k" to advance to the next Layer maker of the nexted Comp.
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until Composition Markers have been added to the containing Comp.
