Corrupted AfterEffects file? Crashes immediately.

I cannot open or import a recent project (or any of it's autosaves) without AE crashing and giving me this notification. 



I've tried:

- updating AE
- uninstall, reistall

- clearing all caches

- opening files on a different computer

- importing into a new project

Anyone run into this before??

Nice job trying to troubleshoot on your own.

Can you share a crash log with us here so that we can look into the details?

Which OS and After Effects version are you on?

I have a crash log file but the .dmp filetype isn't supported for upload here.

Can you see if any crash logs are generated at this location on your Mac?

/Users/<username>/Library/Caches/Adobe/After Effects/23.1/SentryIO-db

Please note that the user library is hidden by default. You can open it directly by following these steps:

1. When in Finder, click Go > Go to Folder

2. Paste this path in the location: ~/Library/Caches/Adobe/After Effects/23.1/SentryIO-db

Additionally, you can upload the .dmp files to Google Drive or Creative Cloud Files and share the URL with us.

I reset my preferences but still have the same results.
