Crash in AE CC 2018 with Mister Horse Animation Composer Plug-in

Greetings,

It has come to the attention of the AE team that certain versions of the Mister Horse Animation Composer Plug-in may be causing AE CC 2018 to crash on launch.

There is an updated version of the plugin (2.4.2) available that may fix this crash. It can be downloaded here:

Animation Composer - Mister Horse

If updating the plug-in does not resolve your crash, we suggest that you uninstall it for the time being, until the AE Team can work with Mister Horse to resolve the issue.

You can manually uninstall the plug-in from this location: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\MisterHorse

    Hello everyone! We have finally found a solution and released another update for Animation Composer.

    Please download the latest version from https://misterhorse.tv/animation-composer

    Sincere apologies for the crash! It was a ninja issue avoiding all our & beta user computers.

      thanks for the adivce.

      But it doesn't work. Had to uninstall Mister Horse.

      not working here i deleted mister horse from the directory and i installed newest version 2.4.2 and its still crashing at startup anyone can help?

        Hi there,

        When After Effect crashes are you presented with some kind of crash dialog? If yes can you please send us the crash log to support@misterhorse.tv?

        We are working on a fix, but it's not happening on our testing machines.

        The weird thing is: I installed it again to check the crash report .. and now it works

        Really cool, but weird ... I will write again if it will crash again .
