How to fix after effects crashing when importing a video clip or footage in MP4?

Without any system info and other details we can't tell you much. there could be several causes for this issue liek the file being damaged, not properly encoded or things like hardware accelerated decoding not working. In the latter case at least update your graphics driver and check the hardware acceleration settings in AE.

    I think it caused by the clip , because I try to add other clips and it worked normally like before
