Creating .mogrt files - does the fps matter?

Hi All,

I've started to create motion graphics templates in AE, for use in Premiere, however I'm interested in other peoples knowledge/opinions on the following question:

Should I be creating these animations in After Effects at various frame rates, if I know that sometimes the sequences they will be used in have a frame rate of 23.976, 25 or 30fps?

Obviously I dont want a jittery animation if, for example I throw in a mogrt created in 23.976fps to a sequence running at 30fps (due to the footage in that sequence). Or vice versa.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I am looking for some more info regarding best practices here. I have a product that utilizes an AE MOGRT to drive caption data. The MOGRT is 30fps and users use this mogrt in Premiere where we try to accomadate any sequence fps. While 99% of the time this works fine, sometimes we see some odd glitching, where the time in the AE mogrt is not correct and results in an incorrect caption being displayed. Not sure if this is due to fps mismatch, but some more info here would be greatly appreciated.

FPS doesn't matter while exporting Mogarts

This isn't correct. Framerate does indeed matter for mogrt sequences.

Do you happend to have some further information on why it matters? Specifically, how mismatched FPS impacts sequences.
