Ctrl+Alt+Home doesnt work properly

It is doing something but not centering the anchor point. What should I do?

Thanks for giving that a try. Do you have multiple shapes on a single Shape layer? If so, try with one shape on a layer. Also, try using it from menu instead of shortcut (right-click the layer > Transform > Center Anchor Point in Layer Content). If nothing works, let us take a look at the project file. Thank you Nishu for your time. I tried the shortcut again after not being on the software for a couple of hours, and everything worked. I don't know how exactly

That's not ideal. What's the version of After Effects you're using? Try running After Effects in Safe Mode. If that works, resetting the preferences should help.
