Cycle Evolution option missing in Turbulent Noise

I'm almost certain it's something obvious to an experienced user but i've been trying to follow a tutorial only to find the cycle evolution option is not available for the Turbulent noise Effect.

Any suggestions?

    There never has been any such thing, so I'm not sure what tutorial you are following that claims there would be.
