Disk cache

Hi, I've just tried loading AE and a warning came up, something about disk cache space.  I missed it exactly.  How do I locate and transfer whatever I need to exactly?  Thank you, DC

    Preferences > Media and Disk Cache

    Make sure your cache is pointing somewhere intentional (i.e. not just your Temp folder) and to a drive with enough space to hold the Maximum Disk Cache size. 

    If you have a separate drive (not your C:/ drive), that's ideal.

      Thank you.  So, just to clarify, if I simply point to a separate drive (in tbis case, an external one with lots of space), then the overall issue is resolved?  Just so that I can manage this issue, what is the likely minimum space required, so that I can keep an eye on the space available on my external drive?  Thank you, D.
