Do you need internet to Render?

When rendering, do i have to continue to be connected to the internet? I'm planning on going into town and I was thinking of bringing my laptop with me to use during the ride but i want to keep my video rendering at the same time. Do you need internet?

There should be no requirement for the internet when rendering but... as Mrtn says Adobe CC may try to verify your account on opening the software.  I'm not sure how often this happens.  Secondly make sure your laptop is well ventilated during the trip.  It can get very hot when rendering and your computer may shut down to protect itself.

You only need internet connection to log in your account to start the software. Or if you use online ressouces from Adobe Cloude like fonts or assets, but I'm sure you can sync them before going offline.

 

Rendering without internet should work, but I never tried.
