Hi, I was wondering if someone knows how to download a free After Effects version, so I can see if I understand it and if I like it. Thank you 🙂

When you get it please check out the beginner tutorials from the User Guide. If you already know how to use an NLE like Premiere Pro, you are going to need a lot more training to even get started with After Effects. It's a lot like flying a plane:
