Hello, i've recently had a problem with after effects in which my effects don't work. I'm not quite sure what the problem is but when i split a photo and add it to another one and preview it, it's fine and works perfectly but i watched a tutorial on a zoom transition and i don't know what i'm doing wrong but when i add transform and motion tile e.t.c it never shows up.

That is the tutorial i followed. I have the keyframes in the right place and everything but the transition never seems to work, why is this? Someone please help

This is what mine looks like. When i click on a certain part of the video, The transition doesn't work.

You have turned your layer into an adjustment layer, which of course won't respond to transform operations liek normal layers. Simply turn off that switch.
