There is a shortcut to activate maximize mode, but I need this to be the default mode when opening AE, is this possible? thanks.

Hi@ToolfarmJP @nishu_kush I mean this functionality:

Thanks for clarifying! I'm on Mac with After Effects 25.3 and mine makes me remove the title bar every time I re-open as well. We can talk to our designers about creating an option for this to be saved. Not sure if it's something we can control, or if there might be a conflict with requirements from the OS to always show the title bar of the app.

You mentioned that you remember this option being saved in previous versions. Have you re-installed a previous version to see if After Effects 24 remembers to hide the title bar?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. I am on a Mac. On my end, it remembers how I closed it last time and opens with the same setting next time when I launch After Effects. Are you on macOS or Windows? Did you experience this issue with previous versions of After Effects?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu

Sorry Nishu, I forgot to mention that it is Windows (I mean, maximize, remove the title bar).

As far as I remember, yes, it always happened, but lately I am using it all the time and it would be more comfortable not having to activate it every time I open AE.

@caroline_editsin previous versions it was the same, but I'm just now posting this on the forum.

Thanks! It would definitely be great to have the option to remember maximized mode.

Thanks for clarifying and taking the time to write a post!

Best,

Caroline
