Error while opening After Effects project.

Dear Community, I ask for your wisdom.

I'm trying to open a huge project file and this pop-up appears at the end of the process,

after plug-in warnings. It re-appears immediately after hitting "ok, and it doesn't let me work with the project. 

Sending the project file to a friend works, he can scrub through the timeline with missing files,

and when he sent me resaved file from his computer, the problem persists.

I'm using the current Ae version on a Win 10 laptop, using a NVIDIA GTX 1070.

Also, starting to panic.
