exporting animated lowerthirds in transparent background

Question

I am very beginner in after effects and I downloaded some lower third template in envato and I have edited them in after effects. My problem is I would like to export the lower third with a transparent background. ps: I will upload this to articulate storyline and when I do that the background is black altough I choose quicktime and alpha channel and RGB + Alpha.

Media players do not support alpha channels. They will always look black. You have to import the rendered footage into an app that supports transparency, like After Effects or Premiere Pro.

If you don't have an alpha in your render (check the properties in the Project Panel after importing), then render again but instead of fiddling with the knobs, use Composition/Pre-render or use the High Quality with Alpha preset available by clicking on the V to show the Output Module presets in the Render Queue.
