Exporting with clear background

I cannot export my animation with a clear background, when I follow the tutorials (select Quicktime and RGB + Alpha) the file gets exported but I get the notification that I cannot open the file because its not compatible.

Is there any other way to get a clear background for my animation?

There are literally five million bugs with this and Quicktime is deprecated, anyway, since Apple doesn't care about it anymore. Use another format like the native ProRes 444, DNxHD or image sequences.
