Is there a way to update selected files within After Effects, Premiere and InDesign (or all Adobe products for that matter) file path to linked files?
We have been using specific folder structures within Apple Server and need to move a few folders.
This would break the links between parent documents mostly After Effects and InDesign.
Is there a tool for this?
There is no generalized tool for this. All programs use completely different mechnisms for external linking so there can't even be such a thing. At the same time, all programs have "Replace/ Relink/ Update Links features", so that's what you would use. And most of that stuff can also be scripted.
