Files exporting squished/wrong size

New Here ,
Jul 01, 2022 Jul 01, 2022

Hello,

I'm making an outro for a vertical video, and recently whenever I export, the file result is quished, even if it looks right in the render. It'll be the regular 9:16 when I'm looking at it as an edit in the program, and then in the render queue, but when it's done exporting and I open the file it's squished up to 1:1! I'm stumped.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Without workflow and render details I can't point you to the exact source of the problem. My best guess is that you fouled up the render settings by customizing something. You may have even fouled up the pixel aspect ratio. It should be square. The choice of format could also present a problem.

Provide some details and embed some screenshots so we can help you find the problem in the settings.

* The "Drag & Drop here..." area works, but it is a pain for the forum users to access the photos. Please do not use it to share images. You can use the toolbar, drag your pictures to the reply field, or even copy and paste the file directly in the reply field, then size them up so we can easily see them.
