Ghosting of object when animating from one position to another

Hi all, whenever I animate anything from one position to another, I always get a slight ghosted/blurry doubling of the object at the front and back of the object while it is moving (and I have motion blur off). If I pause the video, the object it is crisp though. Video attached for reference and I am using After Effects 18.1.0 Build 38. Any help to maintain crisp quality throughout is appreciated. Ty in advance.

Without seeing the modified properties of the problem layer, it is hard to say. It could be a motion blur setting + a qualaity setting on the layer or comp viewer.

Your video will look better with Motion blur anyway. Please embed* a screenshot and describe your workflow in detail. Crisp and clean on every frame usually makes video harder to watch. Motion blur is key to a visually pleasing viewing experience.

It is a trim path that I have created using the start and end feyframes to animate along a path. The attached video shows the issue the best; a screenshot will not show the issue as it is only when in motion that there is a slight ghosting infront and behind of the object (almost like motion blur is on). My resolution is 1080p, 60fps, 8pc and I have tried it with and without adaptive resolution at 100% zoom. When rendering, I am using AME at 5Mb/s rendering at maximum depth. When looking at the attached video, do you see a slight ghosting especially when the object is moving at a high velocity?

I don't see anything untoward. If anything, the animation may be too short and to me, lacks smoothness due to the speed it is moving and the lack of Motion Blur.

And do you see this ghosting artefact in the Composition Panel, in previews or is this happening in renders? And if it's only happening to renders, are these high-quality ProRes renders or low-quality MP4 renders?
