Hello everyone,
I have a question about a GIF animation I made. It contains two pieces of text. I set the first text to 0% transparency at the end before the second text appears. However, in the GIF, the first text remains visible even when the second text shows up.
When I save the animation as, for example, an MP4 or as JPG files, this issue doesn’t occur.
I’ve double-checked that the first text is indeed set to 0% transparency, so that shouldn’t be the problem. Does anyone know how I could fix this?
In the attachments I uploaded an image of the text.
How are you exporting a GIF? Is it via the Media Encoder option? I ended up looking into the best ways to make a gif from After Effects. Maybe this will help:
As to the cause of your exact issue, I've no idea, but I think rendering out as MP4 then converting is probably a better option for you.

Thank you very much for the video. The Adobe Express export to gif worked out well for me 🙂
