Glitch Crosses "X" showing all over the video

Hello, good day! 

 

Please I really need some help with this as I have never faced this issue before. As you can see in the attached screenshots, I opened one of my AE projects and realized that there are several crosses "X" showing all over the video. I have even tried to render the video and see if they go away but they are still there. They are like attached with the layers, when I remove a layer on which the cross is apearing, the cross also disappears.

 

And I'm facing this issue with my other 1-2 projects as well.

 

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Well, just a crazy idea: You could pay your third-party plug-ins! Those are spoiler marks from some commercial plug-in running in demo mode and you need to pay up to make it go away or forego using those effects.

Oh right! It was because of a third party lightning plugin that I was using.
