Green screen

Hi, i have a problem when I open a After Effects proyect the multimedia that i used it´s just a green screen and all the work is messed up

first, be sure to update you GPU driver to the latest version, second try to transcode your footage to a better codec, sometime the mp4 file cause this issue especially if you get it from a mobile phone

Yeah, as @OussK said most likely an issue with hardware accelerated footage decoding. Check the footage itself, your hardware acceleration settings and your system's graphics driver.

Sorry for your issue.

I agree with what the experts suggested. If their suggestion doesn't help, try the following:

  1. Clear the media cache - Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cahce.
  2. Go to After Effects Preferences > Display > uncheck "Hardware Accelerated Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels".
  3. Restart After Effects and re-import the footage.
