Hi soterr,

Thanks for writing in.

We'd need more details. As Rick mentioned, please share screenshots that help us with your workflow. What are effect settings and Composition frame rate? Also, what's the exact version of After Effects you're using: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-find-the-exact-version-of-after-effects-you-re-using/td-p/9972137

Feel free to share a screen recording if possible, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

AE CC 2020, fps=24, but I needed to added some rough movements to my animation cause I added Posterize Time and set it to 12 and discovered this bug

We need to see a screenshot and have a complete workflow description. Guide layers don't render in the final output or if the comp is nested (Pre-composed) and observed in another layer.

Your problem could be anything from corrupted source files or variable frame rate footage or GPU acceleration problems and/or drivers.
