help after effects 2023 plugin drop shadow

Hello! Good morning.

Does anyone know if the Drop Shadow plugin works in Adobe After Effects 2023?


Or does it only work for old version? 

How can I enable or open Drop Shadow for after 2023?

Hi there,

The Drop Shadow plugin should work in all recent After Effects versions, including 2023. The Distance in the Drop Shadow effect settings is a bit less. Please set it to 30 and check if that works. Please also ensure that your background differs from the Drop Shadow color (I see it's set to a shade of black currently; try a contrasting color for your background).

You are looking at a Layer Style, not an Effect. Layer styles are available in the Layer/Layer Styles/Drop Shadow menu or by right-clicking on the Layer name in the Timeline and selecting Layer Styles/Drop Shadow.
