Help- After Effects: black screen with paint animation, footage not showing, trying scribble effect

Hello, I tried to create a scribble efffect on my video but after I render or even pre-compose, the glowing scribble lines of paint brush appear moving on black background but my original footage is not appearing.

Please help. I am attaching screenshots.

Posting your screenshots on the forum using the little picture icon at the top makes it a lot easier for us to figure out your problem.

Fortunately, this one is easy. Your footage is set as a Guide layer so it won't render. It's always best if you show us the modified properties of the layer giving you problems by selecting the layer and pressing the U key twice. If the Guide Layer settings were not your problem I would have had to guess.

    Hi! thanks for your reply and for telling me the solution. Actually I have to put original video footage at the base of all layers. This footage video was trimmed one.
