How can I export split audio track?

Does anyone know if After Effects can export video with a split audio track?  I would like to have a stereo track with vocals in the left channel and music in the right.  In the past I've always taken it into Premiere to do this.  Thank you!

You are doing it right. This is nothing AE can really do, given how limited its audio processing capabilities are. You could duplicate layers and "mix" the channels with the Stereo mixer effect, but it will be prone to noise, craclkles and aliasing and then of course the rendering still takes longer than a simple export in Premiere or Audition. So for what it's worth: Unless you have no other option and would be forced to use AE, just stick with your current workflow.
