how to import avi to after effects?

because when i try to import it tells me that:

its probably not a permission problam because i can import any other file from the same folder...

Lo que no podrías es exportar como AVI, pero la importación sí es posible. Podrías facilitarnos detalles del clip que intentas importar. Asegúrate también de tener instalado el QuickTime 7.

AVIs cannot be imported on Macs because there is no system infrastructure for it. AVI is a Windows file format. You need to run it through a conversion tool to create a MOV or image sequence for it to be usable on Macs.
