How to select same propery of different layers in AE

Hello,

I was following one tutorial from MDS (motion design school), there the tutor selects position properties of one layer, he stes keyframes for only one layer/group  then same preopertie's keyframes (position) are set for all  other layers like magic!

He didn't say how did he do that. I googled 'how to select same properties of different layers in AE" but nothing I found useful.

how did he do that?

If you study the top gif, the creator actually has all the shapes selected, so that as they make changes to one, it's actually updating all.

I figured it out eventually, You are right, he selcted all, What I did is, I selected all the layers like him, then search 'position' and all position appeared in each layer, then I set keyframes, as all layers are already selected so position keyframes appear automatically in the timeline. He does it so fast, like a bee. My eyes cud not follow him.

That can often be the trouble with tutorial creators (speaking as one) it can be really easy to assume everyone is at the same level as you.

All layers with the position property highlighted will get new keyframes when you set one of the values.
