How to shift timeline to the right by x amount of seconds

I am editing an already existing AE project, and I find myself needing to insert new contents either in the beginning or after a particular point. Right now I have to manually shift the timelines of every layer I want to shift to the right.

Is there a fast way to do this? Where I select certain layers and move them x amount of frames to the right?

If so, how to do this?

There is any number of utility scripts over at AEScripts.com, with the oldest one simply called Shifter, but many other script suites have such functions as well at the convenience of a custom panel button. Head over there and have a look.
