how to solve distorted audio sound in after effect like sometimes high slow and low pitch

Quality of MP4 song is good but in after effect the sound of a song automatically become slow/ low pitched/ distorted voice etc. How to solve this?

you must cache your preview before play, try to follow this preview settings

I had a similar problem and discovered it was caused by enabling the icon to the right of the speaker icon in the Preview panel: "Show overlays and..."

Disabling that solved the issue.
