Hi,

I copied pasted the 'path' of the 'Line layer' into circle's 'position; property to animate it along with the line's path. but the scale gets bigger once I paste it.. Why does this happening. I drew it in Illustrator then used overlord (App) to bring the path into AE and scaled it a bit before I animated the 'Line' layer using trim path.

Please help me.

When you paste a vector path as the position property of another layer it pastes at the position of the points independent of the scaling you applied at the layer level.

There are three ways to scale a shape layer; at the layer level (the usual Transform properties), at the shape level (Shape Layer>Contents>ShapeName>Transform:) or at the path level (Double-click on one of the points on the path and free transform).
As far as I have tested, only the last option will transfer the results of scale to the position path.
